An essential institution, still too little known among the population of Laval.
Laval, April 27, 2026 — The Ombudsman of Laval today unveils the results of a survey conducted among 505 residents of Laval by Léger Marketing to assess awareness of the Office as well as public expectations. The findings paint a clear picture: while awareness remains limited, support for the role is particularly strong.
«This survey sends us a clear message: the public recognizes the importance of an independent office to listen, provide guidance, and help foster fair solutions. It also reminds us of our responsibility to better promote our role so that every resident knows there is a recourse when a situation seems without resolution.» said Nathalie Blais, Ombudsman of Laval.
